FAQ

What good are your predictions to anyone?
I suppose some people like to bet on combat sports. They seem to appreciate accurate predictions, especially in a sport as random as MMA. I don't bet, and I only condone responsible gambling.
Why are you doing this?
I'm a huge MMA (and other combat sports) fan, so why not? I have always made predictions in my mind anyway, so eventually I decided to write the serious ones down. After a while I realized I was pretty good at it, so I decided I'd share it with the world.
There have been tons of fights, why did you only predict a few?
Partly because I mostly make predictions on high profile matches in the major leagues, but more importantly because I only publish predictions I am very certain about.
How do I know you didn't just make those statistics up?
Right now, you can't. But you can follow the site for a while and see for yourself. I'm also working on getting reviewed by other sites who specialise in hunting down people who fake predictions.
How often do you change your mind?
Sometimes, but I never do it after the event has begun. I will sometimes add a choice late before the event (for instance, I chose Bader after Jackson failed to make weight at UFC 144, but had not had a prediction for that matchup before the weigh-ins).
