Maynard uses his technically superior boxing to beat Guida standing. Clay will try to use his cardio and wrestling to steal this fight from Maynard, but he will be unsuccessful in bringing it to the mat and will be no match for his opponent on the feet. Maynard by a late stoppage or decision.

In a surprisingly boring fight, Maynard takes a razor thin split decision. Hopefully, Guida learns that jumping left and right and moving your head a lot does not win fights. Maynard needs to work on his speed if he wants to remain relevant in the 155 division.
