Prediction betting outcomes
Had you placed a 10.0$ bet on every prediction (with available lines), you would've bet a total of 630.0$ and had a total outcome of 782.8$, winning a profit of 152.8$. A bet of 10.0$ on a parlay ticket with all predictions on a single event would amount to a total of 370.0$ bet and an outcome of 590.2$, with a profit of 220.2$.Main / Co-main event analysis
The following graphs show the distribution of winners in main and co-main events. All fights with even odds were ignored in the calculations. The list of fights used can be found here. Keep in mind these have nothing to do with predictions, these graphs present bare statistics of fight outcomes since January 2012.The data suggests betting on favorites is the sensible thing to do. Let's see if it actually pays. Clearly, consistantly betting on underdogs results in loss. Betting on the favorite is profitable, but the winnings are small in comparison to the amounts bet.
Same principle applies when placing parlay bets. We can see that a parlay ticket on both the main event and co-main event favorite is the most profitable option. However, the sample is still rather small (and contains a few even odds, which are omitted from calculations), so results are inconclusive.
